At Mission Valley Physical Therapy, my mission is to provide comprehensive and effective rehabilitation services with an emphasis on education and individualized care. My practice is built on a solid foundation of truly caring about every individual’s health and well-being.
I provide a uniquely personal approach, establishing programs that are highly effective and motivating while achieving the best possible outcome. I offer 45 minute to 90 minute sessions with one therapist. You will never be transferred to an aide or an assistant, or left alone on a cardio machine or heating pad.
It is my belief that the natural state of the body is to be healthy and vibrant. Everyone has innate potential to adapt and change. If we remove barriers to health and add corrective inputs, you WILL improve. No matter how bad your symptoms seem, you are not an exception to this rule. Your body is resilient and it will respond positively in the right environment.
You can expect to be asked to take action as part of your treatment plan. The more you are able to take on new actions, the better your experience will be. Even the smallest change, if it represents something new to you, can be the start of your recovery.
You will not be alone in this process. I will be present to support you as we work to achieve your goals. I will help you make decisions and plans with your best interests in mind. I will also be honest about what I feel is best for you. However, all choices will ultimately be up to you. Making decisions about your own body as a sovereign individual and taking responsibility for those choices is a vital part of the healing process.
