Pelvic Health

There are 36 muscles that attach to the pelvis including abdominal muscles, muscles of the back, muscles of the hip and thighs, the muscles of the pelvic floor, and even the latissimus that moves the arm. The muscles of the pelvic floor support your organs and control urinary, sexual, and bowel functions.

People of any sex or gender can suffer with issues related to the pelvis. Pregnancy, childbirth, constipation, chronic breathing problems or coughing, abdominopelvic surgeries, injuries, and trauma can all affect proper functioning of this system..

I have been treating pelvic health issues my entire career and even before my career started. When I was a physical therapy student in Seattle, I did an internship with renowned pelvic health physical therapist Kathe Wallace who is the co-founder of the Herman and Wallace Institute. Since then, I have seen pelvic health patients in every setting and have continued to take courses related to all things pelvic health.

I understand the intimacy of these issues. My clinic is small and offers complete privacy. You will not have to wave at your neighbor across the clinic or speak quietly so that no one hears you. When you are here, this space will be completely devoted to you.
