The hip is one of the most freely moveable joints in the body. Unfortunately, many of us can spend a day mostly sitting, standing some, walking, and then lying down for bed, thus greatly underutilizing all of the motion available in the hips.
One of my favorite ways to work on hip mobility is to sit on the floor. I have to sit during the day anyway, so I might as well sit in positions that open my hips instead of spending more time conforming with a chair.
How many ways can you sit on the floor? I have included some ideas with this article.
